Shipping Policy – FAQs

EdiSchoolMart connects schools with multiple verified vendors. Each product is shipped directly from the respective vendor’s warehouse or manufacturing unit.
If your order includes products from different vendors, you may receive multiple packages with separate delivery dates and tracking details.
- Order processing begins immediately after payment confirmation.
- Vendors typically require 2–4 business days to prepare, pack, and dispatch products.
- You’ll receive an email and/or SMS once your items are shipped.
Note: Custom-made or bulk furniture orders may require additional time (usually 7–10 business days).
- Standard delivery is completed within 5–7 business days from the date of shipment.
- For remote or non-metro areas, deliveries may take up to 10–12 days depending on courier network coverage.
- Delivery timelines vary based on vendor location, product category, and logistics provider.
We collaborate with trusted logistics providers, including:
Delhivery, VRL Logistics, Maruti Couriers, Agarwal Packers & Movers, and Blue Dart (based on location and product type).
Each partner is chosen for their reliability and pan-India reach.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email/SMS containing:
- Courier partner name
- Tracking ID
- Link to real-time order tracking
You can also track your order status directly through the “Track My Order” section on our website.
If your order includes products from different vendors or warehouses, they may be shipped separately for faster delivery.
Each shipment will have its own tracking number and delivery timeline.
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on product weight, dimensions, and delivery destination.
- Any applicable discounts or free-shipping offers will be automatically applied during checkout.
- For bulk institutional orders, special shipping arrangements may be discussed with our logistics team.
- Shipping charges are generally borne by the buyer (school) and must be paid before or at the time of delivery.
- For special vendor arrangements or reward-based programs, EdiSchoolMart may partially subsidize logistics on a case-by-case basis.
- Address changes can only be made before dispatch.
- Once the shipment is handed over to the logistics partner, we cannot alter the delivery address.
- To request an address change, contact logistics@edischoolmart.com immediately after placing the order.
While most deliveries are on time, delays may occur due to:
- Vendor-side processing issues,
- Logistics constraints, or
Unforeseen events (weather, strikes, transport disruptions, etc.).
EdiSchoolMart will proactively communicate all delays and coordinate with vendors/logistics partners to ensure prompt resolution.
Please note: Delays due to external factors do not qualify for cancellation.
- Always inspect packages at the time of delivery.
- If damage or shortage is observed, record an unpacking video and photographs immediately.
Report the issue within 2 working days at customercare@edify.in with order and tracking details.
Our team will coordinate with the vendor and logistics partner for replacement or corrective action.
EdiSchoolMart tracks all shipments until delivery confirmation.
If a shipment is lost or untraceable:
- A formal investigation is initiated with the courier partner.
- Once verified, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund (as per the vendor’s confirmation).
Loss or damage during return transit caused by improper packaging by the buyer will not be covered.
Currently, we cannot guarantee exact time-slot deliveries. However, logistics partners generally notify the recipient before delivery.
For large institutional orders, scheduled deliveries can be arranged with prior notice to customercare@edify.in.
Delivery may not be available in certain remote or regulatory-restricted areas.
You can verify serviceability by entering your PIN code at checkout.
For bulk orders, we can assist in arranging alternate delivery solutions through regional vendors.
At present, EdiSchoolMart ships only within India.
However, international expansion for partner schools abroad is planned for the future.
EdiSchoolMart acts as a procurement facilitator between buyers and vendors.
Once the product is dispatched, responsibility for delivery timelines and handling rests with the logistics partner and vendor.
We ensure end-to-end coordination and customer communication but do not bear liability for delays caused by external or force majeure events.
